PLURIOL E 3400 FLAKES is a technical designation by BASF for a grade of Polyethylene Glycol (PEG). (Av. mol. Weight: 3100-3700 g/mol). White or slightly yellowish flakes (solid form at 23C). It is highly soluble in water, forming a clear liquid solution. It is a high-molar-mass, non-ionic, versatile polymer. Its primary functions are as a solubilizer, non-ionic surfactant, binder, plasticizer, and humectant. It is thermally stable and relatively inert.
