CARBOPOL ETD 2020 NF

CARBOPOL® ETD 2020 NF polymer is a thickener and rheology modifier with long flow commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry. It also has bioadhesive and mucoadhesive properties. CARBOPOL® ETD 2020 NF is an easy to disperse carbomer, and forms clear gels and stable suspensions when neutralized. It is compatible with a wide range of active ingredients and other excipients. Recommended for: semisolids, creams and gels. CARBOPOL® ETD 2020 NF is suitable for topical drug delivery, ophthalmic drug delivery, and oral care applications. Recommended concentrations in topicals: 0.5-3 wt%. It's a carbomer homopolymer type B, polymerized in a cosolvent mixture of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane.
