Advanced Materials
Bondyram® 1001 is a maleic anhydride modified homopolymer polypropylene used as a coupling agent for glass fibers and other fillers in composites. Bondyram® 1001 provides improved adhesion between fillers and polymer matrices. It has a maleic anhydride content of 1% allowing for improved interaction at the interface of materials on a molecular level. This enhances the mechanical properties and durability of advanced material formulations. Bondyram® 1001 is suitable for applications requiring density of 0.9 g/cm3, a melting point of 160°C and MFI of 100 for proper dispersion of fillers into high-performance polymer matrices.
