ASP 170

ASP 170 is a highly pulverized powder aluminum silicate product manufactured using BASF's Ultra-flotation process to provide a very fine particle size grade featuring premium brightness. ASP 170 has been specially modified with dispersants for ease of dispersion and is chemically inert. ASP 170 provides a high degree of extension and excellent optical properties. Its fine particle size and low residue help provide excellent dispersion and physical properties in a wide variety of systems. ASP 170 can be used in applications requiring a versatile product that provides opacity, hiding power and reinforcement. It is suitable where brightness, high bulking value and minimal effect on cure rates are required.
