SILFAR® 1000 is a polydimethylsiloxane obtained by hydrolysis and polycondensation of dichlorodimethylsilane and chlorotrimethylsilane. The degree of polymerization (n) is such that the mean kinematic viscosity is 1000mm²/s at 25°C.
