SATINTONE W/WHITETEX

SATINTONE W/WHITETEX is a fine particle-size kaolin featuring high brightness. It has been dehydroxylated by controlled heat treatment to remove crystalline-bound hydroxyl groups and improve brightness. Highly pulverized for ease of dispersion, SATINTONE W/WHITETEX provides abrasion resistance in traffic coatings. It has a very good balance of optical and mechanical properties. SATINTONE W/WHITETEX is widely used as an opacifying extender in flat architectural interior and exterior coatings. In these applications, it provides good resilience, low permanent-set and good electrical insulative properties. Typical applications include water-borne interior/ exterior flats, solvent-borne interior/ exterior flats, industrial safety coatings, where it enhances durability.
