EASTMAN AQ 38S POLYMER

Eastman AQ™ 38S is a sulfopolyester supplied as solid pellets that disperses easily in hot water without additives. It helps incorporate hydrophobic ingredients into water-based systems and forms clear, flexible films at room temperature. With a glass transition temperature (Tg) of about 38°C, AQ 38S produces soft, flexible films suitable for cosmetic and personal care products. It enhances the feel and adhesion of creams, lotions, and sprays, and is especially useful in sunscreen formulations, improving water resistance, emulsification of UV absorbers, and spray coverage.
