PORTAFLAME SG200

PORTAFLAME SG200 is a medium-coarse, synthetic aluminium hydroxide filler that offers formulators opportunities to incorporate high loading levels in polymer systems. As a halogen-free flame retardant, PORTAFLAME SG200 has a mean particle size of 90 microns and apparent density of 1.3 g/cm3, making it well-suited for applications requiring bulk and strength. Its endothermic decomposition releases water vapor to provide effective flame retardancy from 200°C onwards, a key benefit for materials handling high temperatures.
