PORTAFLAME SG10

PORTAFLAME SG10 is a halogen-free flame retardant filler used in a variety of advanced material applications. With a mean particle size of 3.8 um, PORTAFLAME SG10 offers formulators the ability to incorporate high loading levels without negatively impacting surface quality or color. Its finely milled particles provide slightly more opacity and better flame retardant performance compared to standard grades. As an aluminium hydroxide, PORTAFLAME SG10's mechanism of flame retardancy is through an endothermic decomposition reaction that releases water vapor while absorbing heat—making it well-suited for applications where thermal management is important.
