PORTAFLAME SG50 is a medium-coarse, synthetic aluminium hydroxide filler that offers formulators opportunities to incorporate high loading levels in polymer systems. As a ground halogen-free flame retardant, PORTAFLAME SG50 is suited for a broad range of applications. With a mean particle size of 16 microns, PORTAFLAME SG50 has good dispersion properties. Its endothermic decomposition and water release above 200°C provide effective flame retardancy. These characteristics make PORTAFLAME SG50 well-suited for the Advanced Materials industry, as it can enhance flame retardant properties without compromising quality or performance.
