SILRES® BS 1318 is used in water diluted form for the hydrophobation of in plant produced silicate based mineral construction materials. Especially SILRES® BS 1318 is used for the hydrophobation of clay based products immediately after production such as: roof tiles, facing bricks, floor tiles, flower pots. Drinking water is suitable for dilution and good hydrophobic results are achieved when SILRES BS 1318 is diluted 1:10 to 1:50
