SODIUM SILICATE 37/40 PG is a transparent, almost colorless, viscous liquid aqueous solution of sodium silicate. It is stable for 12 months in its original container when handled properly. SODIUM SILICATE 37/40 PG is a cost-effective offering containing an optimum of SiO2 to Na2O content in high molar ratio. With high molar ratio achievable softening- or melting points in end applications are high; SODIUM SILICATE 37/40 PG is a favorable base material to formulate fire- resistant glass interlayers. SODIUM SILICATE 37/40 PG is suitable for industrial production of SiO2-containing end products, as it provides an easy-to-handle, silicate-rich liquid raw material.
