CREABLOC 100 is a specialty superabsorbent polymer designed for industrial applications involving mixing with thermoplastic elastomers and other swellable compounds. As a crosslinked copolymer of acrylic acid, CREABLOC 100 provides outstanding salt resistance combined with excellent thermal and mechanical stability, making it well-suited for use in high salinity solutions. It can swell against moderate, external pressures, absorbing up to 200 grams of deionized water per gram of polymer. These properties make CREABLOC 100 an ideal additive for producing waterproof and moisture-resistant advanced materials. When incorporated into advanced material formulations, CREABLOC 100 helps enable long-lasting water blocking protection, moisture management, and dimensional stability even under demanding conditions like high temperatures, pressures, or salt concentrations.
